Joh 3:30
He must increase, but I must decrease.
Friend, before Christ can ever increase in our lives we must first decrease. What is meant is that we must put off the old self and put on the new, put on robes of righteousness.
Lay aside anything that will hinder the works of the spirit. In today's world pride has become such an enormous garment. Everywhere you look it is all about me or all about my rights or all about getting what I want. Quickly forgetting it is not about us but about Jesus Christ and the will of His father.

Mr 7:20
And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

Mr 7:21
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Mr 7:22
Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

Mr 7:23
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
when John Baptist was here He went about as the voice of one crying in the wilderness, not as John, He sought no recognition for Himself but rather sought to lift up Jesus. Bring attention to Christ turn others to Jesus.
We also must be that voice in this weary wilderness that we live in, Put aside pride and pick up your cross and follow after Christ and increase HIS works. Far before Christ could increase in HIS time John the Baptist had to decrease. Today before Christ can increase in our lives we must get self out of the way. Be that HOLY temple that allows the works of the spirit to go forth.
We must never forget that this is only a temporary dwelling place, this is not home. This is only a place where we must decrease so Jesus can increase, be that voice crying in the wilderness make straight His ways. When all is said and done who will ever remember all you trophies, all your awards, all your fame. At the time these are all received it is a very proud moment, but as time goes on the trophies gather dust, the drawers are full of awards, some you remember receiving and others you don't even know what they were for. All that will ever matter is have we done enough for HIM. It is not about us but about the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. FOR WHAT IS YOUR LIFE? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
So today if you knew tomorrow would never come, this would be that last sunrise that you would ever see, the last time you would ever see another day here on this earth. Would it really matter that you are always right, would it really matter that you won every time, would it even matter that you achieved more than you neighbors....... In the end nothing belongs to us except the master we serve. So friend choose today to be that voice for HIM, cry out make straight HIS ways. Far to long Sin has abound in this world and has grown braver and braver with no shame. Why because the voice is dying, who is crying out in this wilderness, but those who say it is my right to live this way.

Ro 6:23
For the WAGES OF SIN is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
There is a price for the life you live, wages are given for the work done, there is a payday coming whether it be good or evil all must appear before the JUDGMENT seat of Christ but only the pure in heart shall see GOD.
Blessing of the day
May you receive boldness to speak out against sin,may you be that voice that leads others to CHRIST. May you be filled with wisdom that only comes from God, and the knowledge to use it.
His friend and yours..........May God richly bless you today!

Be Of Good Cheer; It Is I; Be Not Afraid.

Mt 14:23
And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Mt 14:24
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
Mt 14:25

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went
unto them, walking on the sea.
Mt 14:26

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
Mt 14:27

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
Mt 14:28

And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
Mt 14:29

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
This was a time when a storm was raging, it looked like all would be lost. Jesus disciples out on the raging sea, while HE was apart, alone. While the storm was raging Jesus was praying. HIs disciples know doubt thought, "Where in the world is HE when we need HIM the most." I would imagine a time alot like today, with all the troubles in this world, the stock markets crashing, nation against nation, violence on an all time high. Sometimes on may question where are you LORD?
But notice in verse :25
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
He did not leave them there to die, although it seemed hopeless, fearful, an troublesome, there was an appointed time of arrival. Just as there is today, all is not lost, HE is meerly watching from a distant shore, waiting on the time to come walking on the water for us.
The troubles for those disciples that night, was nothing for our LORD and saviour. Their trouble was only stepping stones for HIM to walk on. { completely under HIS feet }
There will never be a storm to large for HIM, troubles to big that HE cannot solve them. What seems impossible with man is POSSIBLE with GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Today HE is still saying be of good cheer it is I be not afraid.
Don't look at the storm that is surrounding you, look to the one that controls the storm, in HIM you will find comfort and peace.
Peter questioned, and said LORD if it be thou bid ME to come unto thee on the water. Jesus answered and said COME.
Peter got off the boat making his journey toward the Lord when he became frightened of the storm and began to sink. Fear caused Peter to begin to sink, friend be of good courage,........

2ti 1:7
For God hath not given us the SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Fear will cause you to sink.........
Mt 14:30
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Mt 14:31
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

The key words here beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord save me, and Immediately Jesus stretched forth HIS hand and caught him.

Yes Peter began to sink, but he cried out when he realized he was going down, you don't need to wait until your head is under, cry out now, cry out when you feel your self sinking, the end result,is HE will hear. For HE has no respect of person and will stretch forth HIS hand for you.

There will never be a mountain to high, nor a valley to low that you cannot overcome with the help of the LORD!!!!

Eph 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

As bad as times may seem, as hopeless as situations may be, there is an appointed time he will come, we just have to keep watching and looking and one day we to shall see HIS appearing.

so just remember

Joh 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Blessing of the day
May your eyes be fixed on HIM, may you have ears to hear with, and eyes to see with, and a heart to recieve it. May you find strength to endure, and courage to keep pressing forward.

His friend and yours

The Lamb that Became the Lion

He Prevailed to open the book, and loose the seven seals.

Re 5:5
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

He prevailed.........He did what no other man could do, HE overcame.
Friend many times in life we feel we cannot go on, many times the Journey becomes so hard. There is a promise left us, that says I"ll go with you always even unto the end of the world. He never promised it would be easy, but HE did offer support, HE never promised that there would never be battles, HE tells us to fight the good fight of faith.

How do we do this Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the WHOLE armor of God. We must put each piece of armor on being careful not to leave off anything. We must over come if we are to inherit the Kingdom of God!

Re 3:21
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also OVERCAME, and am set down with my Father in his throne

So friend keep on pressing onward, don't become bogged down with worry and grief for in a moment in the twinkling of an eye things will change, and it will all be over. Endure until the end for only those who endure ( the pure in heart ) Shall See God.

" Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." Matthew 25:13
Blessing of the Day
--I pray that you find shelter in the arms that are strong enough to hold you, that you find peace in HIM that only can give peace. May you feel the LOVE of Jesus that is so so real, may you find strength that only comes to those that believe
